Wonders of youthful dreams. He was a boy when I met him, my grandson’s best friend.
Kyle’s dream was to be on Broadway.
Here he is, the guy on the right, a star in Les Miz. The other guy is my grandson, David. The photo was taken after the show backstage. Kyle got us house seats and joined us for dinner. It was more than special, and so exciting to see him perform. Lana, our guest from South Africa, although she had seen the show at home, she, with us, enjoyed interfacing with a Broadway cast.
Here’s some scenes from the show.

Everyone wanted his autograph and to take pictures with him. He is good looking and charming, of course.

Here we all are, not everyone gets to take a group shot with a star. Thank you Kyle. Have you seen this revival?
I love Les Mis…one of the best Broadway productions EVER! I saw it several years ago, but would love to see it again. Lucky you to be able to visit with one of the cast. You must have been thrilled. Thanks for sharing the adventure!
Glad to see you Paula, thanks. We loved it, from the amazing performances, Kyle’s singing and acting, and our backstage experience. Kyle gave us a tour. He would be a great model, he is probably 6′ 5 or so, handsome, well, you know the rest. You can see his height in the pictures. I loved watching him with the show goers, all asking for autographs and to take pictures with him. So sweet. My daughter, David’s mom, thinks of him as a son. He hung out at their house growing up, so whenever I visited, I got to hang out too. Great kid too.
I’m so jealous! First that you saw the revival, but also that you know a star in in. Super cool! And I’m sure it made extra fun to watch him.
Les Miz is one of my favorites! I have all the songs on my playlist and love it that my kids sing a long. 😉
Hey there Katy, it’s good to see you. Yeah, you can be jealous, LOL, it was magical. I was so proud of Kyle. What a talent, he is so talented.. It was great to see the show, fabulous, in fact, and it was fun to watch David and Kyle together, friends–you know. I sent David this blog. Let’s see his response. I asked him to forward it to Kyle. Thanks always.
Sounds like you had a great time, Gail! The last Broadway play I saw was years ago, but it’s an experience you don’t forget. It must have been extra special knowing someone in the production. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for stopping by Frances. It was a blast. The whole day, from start to finish. Next week I will blog about the NY tours before curtain time. Oh yes, it was amazing. I know Kyle since he was a young boy. He was always debonair, even as a kid. He is adorable, and has a gorgeous girlfriend. We loved him in the show. Watch his name, Kyle Skatliffe, he’s going to be a mega star. Besides being gorgeous and charming, he does all type casts.
